An Emulsion is the third and latest generation of the commercial explosives in the world. It has excellent performance, characteristics & flexibility in use. An Emulsion explosive is a water-in-oil emulsion consisting of a super-saturated solution of microscopic droplets and it sensitizes with entrapped air in the form of ultra- ne bubbles, dispersed throughout the emulsion which act as sensitizer. An emulsion explosive is a modern
technique of art in explosive’s family. It contains no raw material, which can be classified as explosive. Emulsion becomes explosive only in the final stage of its production. It is therefore safer to manufacture and handle than any other commercial explosives. This is relatively insensitive to accidental initiation by shock, friction or mechanical impact under normal conditions. Emulsion explosives are being used in soft medium and hard rocks, it is very suitable for tunnels & gassy mines etc. CSFMC has the pride in producing best quality Emulsion Explosive in the country which can be displayed in any trial.

Seismic explosive is not a different type of explosive than other emulsions. It is also one of the categories of these explosives with some changes in raw material composition; to enhance its e effective energy, velocity & shattering e effect. It is designed for seismic application & geological survey. Its packing is in rigid plastic capsules with the provision of inter-coupling to prevent the water penetration. Although the seismic explosives have excellent water resistance, but the hydrostatic pressure within the bore whole is too much and sleeping time is approximately four weeks. Emulsion Seismic explosives is also relatively safer in handling, transportation, charging & use than other seismic explosives. It is insensitive to accidental hazards by shock, friction or mechanical impact under normal conditions.


Seismic Water Gel Explosive is specially design for seismic application and geological surveys. Its efficiency is better than ordinary water gel explosives & velocity of detonation is more then 5500 m/s.
Seismic Water Gel Explosives is specially packed in rigid plastic tube with friction welding to prevent water penetration.



Sometimes, medium energy & velocity explosives are required for blasting in medium & soft rock. CSFMC has exclusivity of producing Powder Explosives (without Nitro Glycerin injurious to human health) to meet the blasting requirements of Sand stone, Limestone, Marble, Gypsum, Minerals & metals mining. It is a cap sensitive product and packed in different diameters, sizes & sacks as per requirements of our valuable customers. It is recommended for use in dry blast holes as column charge explosive.

Detonating cord consists of PETN core covered by woven tube of polythene tape and cotton threads protected by an outer insulation of polyvinyl chloride. The weight of cord is approximately 10 g/m and + outer diameter is about 5.0 5.5mm. The Detonating Cord is a strong, flexible and linear explosive which consists of a continuous core of high explosives PETN. The Detonating Cord is critical in transmitting energy for initiation of explosion. It is a cap sensitive product having the ability to initiate all cap sensitive explosives & primers.



The short interval delay detonator has been widely used for blasting. The composition of delay detonator is the same as electric or plain detonator, but the delay element is placed in between the fuse head and primary charge. It is vitiated by an electric impulse. Millie second and half second delay electric detonators are mostly used for quarrying, open pit and breaching projects.
